Careful where you put your feet!

I enjoyed watching a little field mouse look for seeds around the potted flowers on our back patio today.

The mouse really captured my interest when he nonchalantly climbed up onto my cactus plant.

This cactus has been with me now for over twenty years grown up from a little nubbin.

It has needle sharp thorns that are extremely well known to me from my occasional repotting efforts over the years.

I could not believe my eyes as this mouse climbed in and around on its spiky limbs.
