The view out of the Radisson Blu Birmingham. Not very inspiring when you open your curtains to this... although it did brighten up later.

What I only discovered later was this: I was on the 11th floor, I thought the top floor was the 18th, where the gym was (visited on this day). In fact, when I went outside at lunchtime, I realised that there were another 15-20 floors of flats or similar plonked on top of the hotel. You have, obviously, no sense of this when you are inside.

A comfortable hotel, but not a good night's sleep. Not sure why not.
