Ploughing match

Today was the annual Forest of Arden Ploughing Match which takes place on a farm nearby. We cycled down there with CoffeePotter & Nikonabike. It's always a lovely day out and today the weather was fantastic with great light. There are various farming-type competitions including ploughing (ancient & modern) and hedge laying followed by an enormous lunch.

There were some great photo opportunities. The hardest thing was avoiding people in the background.

I saw quite a few people I knew or recognised including this lady.
