Amphibian on the Machair!

I don't know if it's a frog or a toad, it was about 3 inches or so long and was light brown and lime green with black patches on its eyes!
The nearest fresh water is a good half mile in both directions, no other water other than the sea! No wet ditches either since we got the field drain installed earlier this summer!
