Rabbits meet squirrels

The sample of Brer Rabbit wallpaper that we ordered from John Lewis on Monday has arrived. Here it is next to the squirrels who are about to go into retirement. The rabbit pattern is a lot busier than that of the squirrels and the colour somewhat darker, but it matches well with our sofas and the marble of our fireplace. We now need to measure up, order the quantity we need, and book the decorator.

In other news I am glad that the referendum is over. The act of turning on the radio this morning felt like opening an envelope for exam results.
