Scoop and Muck

Two helpful diggers getting started on the drainage work around our cottage!

My husband has been digging trenches in order to repoint the brickwork below ground level before the builders lay drainage pipes. Ted has had literally hours of fun playing with his diggers and tractors in the heaps of earth. It's wonderful to see him engaging in imaginative play. It'll be a shame when the heaps of soil have gone - I think I'll allocate him a bit of flowerbed in which to dig instead!
