After picking up a hire car we went up to the allotment and then out to the garden centre for a few supplies. Spent the rest of the day doing some work related stuff and packing in a desultory manner.

It seems that someone must have put out a tweet that DaveH and Meles had put a new bird feeder up at the allotment and filled it with delicious seed.

I have just remembered that the process of shuffling the pieces at the beginning of a Mah Jong game is called the Twittering of the Sparrows.
