Pulling Out, Dining In

We caught the Streamranger Heritage Railway steam engine pulled train from Mt Barker in the Adelaide Hills down to Victor Harbour today. Here from our corner table at the Apollo Hotel we could watch the train as it pulled out of the station, while we sipped our drinks and waited on our beer battered fish & chips.

There was plenty on today, as it was the last day of the Victor Harbour Rock 'n' Roll Festival, complete with bobby socks, pigtails and silk jackets, plus vintage cars. There is also a lovely walk across the bridge to Granite Island.
