Thursday 18 February 2010: Snowy Mountains and the Ark Royal

I had to take my wife's car to the garage in Helensburgh this morning. Unusually I ambled back via the windy road along Loch Long. Just at the Finnart Terminal I got a first glimpse of a massive grey shape by the navy pier which turned out to be the Ark Royal. This shot places it within the beautiful winter landscape of what might be called the Argyll fjords ! Certainly a contrast.....
