Waiting For Dinner

Lovely day here today - at last. Got loads of washing done and dried outside.

Was up at 3 a.m. - couldn't sleep, so watched the grand prix from yesterday!

Had a longish walk (four miles) and have exhausted the dogs. Part of the lane we went along today runs right alongside the A1(M) and there is nothing but a little wooden fence between the path and traffic hurtling by at 70mph - just a little scary! Not sure if we will use that one again.

Cut the grass this afternoon - was a little wet, but today was probably the best of the week.

Took my camera out in the garden and found this spider lurking around - it had been out in the web but was moving around too much to get a decent shot. So when it went back into the 'hiding place' I managed to get this shot - it was fairly shaded and there was a slight breeze so I had to up the ISO quite a bit.
