Unbirthday Ship

We spent the day with our grandson ...an unbirthday outing at the local Seaport Museum.

It was an interesting day walking through what was an active World War 2 submarine and also a Flag Ship from the Spanish American War. The museum presented a wonderfully educational experience depicting the ship building history on our local Delaware river. As we left we even caught a glimpse of some current day river traffic.

I've mentioned it before, but giving memories instead of gifts has been excitedly received by our grandkids. It's always enjoyable to watch and listen as they try and guess where we might be traveling. Today was no different.
