I Found It by the Sea

I Found It by the Sea had its West Cost debut this evening at Seattle's Town Hall. Written by Timo Andres, it was one of the featured piano quartets on tonight's program along with the aptly named Piano Quartet by Yevgeniy Sharlat, also debuting on the West Coast this evening.

It has become a tradition for my fellow Cello Nerd Joan and me to attend all of cellist Joshua Roman's "home games". Tonight, we were joined by our cello teacher, Megan. The concert was preceded by pizza, wine, and cannoli at Vito's, and finished off with the Brahms Piano Quartet in G minor, Opus 25.

Pictured above, our very, very talented musicians, from left to right: Joshua Roman, Andrius Zlabys, Jocelin Pan, and Susie Park. The evening's performance in a nutshell? Uniquely beautiful pieces, played with gusto and passion.

Encore! Encore!
