East Beaches

There were a lot of ' wow' moments today, we were bathed in warm sunshine for most of the day. The loop walk on the eastern side of the island took us through the most divine land and seascape and every view had the back drop of the Twelve Ben's mountain range.
This beach of white sand was strewn with shells and not another sole was to be seen, just heron's, turnstone's and sandpiper's. The village at East End Bay was so picturesque and even the new builds fitted into the landscape well unlike in other parts of the mainland.
A swim was taken at a deserted cove further around the bay and after the initial chill it was wonderful and again with the mountains all around. More exploring of the north easts rugged headlands before heading back for a very welcome cuppa.
