Norwegian Star

The last of this years cruise liner visits was the Norwegian Star. It came in a day early due to a poor forecast tomorrow and is now heading for Iceland.

I had never seen such a large liner as close to the Lerwick shore as todays visitor although its size looks reduced in this due to the wide-angle. The Bressay ferry passing her at the rear does give some indication of the size.

I merged well with the tourists today with their cameras clicking away with the favourite view seeming to be the red phone box in Commercial Street.
