Spawning Salmon sculpture and wheel - Wetherby

At the side of Wetherby's weir are poised two bronze coloured salmon beside a wheel from the town's old water mill. The salmon sculpture was created by Michael Liesener in 2000. It was the winner of a local competition to celebrate the new millennium.

This is my first attempt at using RAW image files. The photo was taken almost directly into the low autumn sun, and the jpeg was a bit of a disaster. I seem to have managed to recover something of the far bank, although may have pushed things a bit far with the vibrance. Practice required!
