Nuts to you

My neighbours have a very large mature walnut tree in their garden, and at this time of year the squirrels like to strip it and bury the nuts all over the place. Well, I say all over the place, but I think it is mainly in my lawn. Lots of walnut-sized holes keep appearing, and today this squirrel and her partner were hard at work all day. We have a 'stable door' type of back door and at one point I thought I would lean out with a view to scaring them off. She was having none of it. She looked at me, ran over to about six feet away from me and tried to stare me out.

I'm going to have to work on my 'scary face' look.
