Born Free

This is a detail from my quilt Born Free. To my delight this quilt won the 1st Prize in the Small Wallhangings section at the Scottish Quilt Championships at Ingliston this weekend. The other quilt I entered in the same show, called Klimtesque, also won, in this case the 2nd Prize in the Theme section, the theme being Quilted Jewels, as well as the award for Embellishment.
