Transient

I am dedicating this blip to my brother who tells me he can't get enough images of The Meadows.
Actually I tell a lie, but I haven't posted a blip of this dear green lung near the centre of Edinburgh for quite some time, so I hope he will bear with me.

The ribbon of mist appeared from nowhere just as the sun rose over the University Library, to hang over the ground just long enough for me to capture it on camera.
With the unseasonably warm, calm, sunny weather on offer at the moment, it was a transient glimpse of 'The Season of Mists and Mellow Fruitfulness' which we might expect at the end of September.
