Autumn rose

This is a large pink rose at the top of a pretty tall stem. I blipped it early in the morning and I must have looked silly leaning over a wall, stretching to hold a camera to look down onto a giant ball of pink petals... I couldn't actually see what I was photographing so I did have to hope it was okay and wasn't covered in bird poo or had been eaten... In the end it's come out fine I think.

Work was dull, but after work we had badminton then Café Scientifique which made me feel like a student again...
