Portchester Castle

Another fab day today.

Up late and had a cooked breakfast in the caravan. We then went for a swim in the pool. It was nice and warm so we stayed in there for ages. P is getting quite brave jumping in from the side and trying to swim with her float.

When we got back to the caravan we had some lunch and then Mr J and little man fell asleep! Me and P got bored so we went to the little shop to buy sweets and then went to the soft play. It was about an hour later when we arrived back and finally they were awake.

We hopped in the car and went to Portchester Castle for the afternoon. It was a great big imposing place and looked really striking against the darkening sky. We had a look around. It was really spooky in some places. Following a very steep and narrow spiral staircase we got right to the top of the tower. We could see right across the harbour and saw Spinnaker tower from the other side.

This evening we have been to the club house. P had a blast dancing to the cheesy pop songs and watching the characters 'Sid & Lizzie' performing on the stage.

I'm pooped now. Hoping for a good night sleep...
