.... ford of the young cattle! A tidal river and the tide was just coming in making weird and wonderful reflections from walls and trees and seaweed.

A swim has just been taken but I think it might be the last one of the year. There was a lot of shrieking and swearing a small gasp as I got in. A north westerly wind was gusting around, the air temperature is currently around 13 degrees but the sea is a blistering 16 apparently! As I got out it started to rain.

We're off to meet friends for a pizza and then onwards to see Christy Moore who is playing in Bantry. The craic should be mighty. He won't be allowed to leave the building until he's played this . And this is one of my faves . We last saw him in the shed at the White House Pub where he'd come to listen to the music but graciously agreed to do a set which was blistering! He looks like a farmer but when he opens his mouth......
