The Pet Show in an old Dartboard Factory

We had a nice, long day today - me and teens - in the pet match show (of bunnies, gerbils, quinea-pig and hamsters) in an old Piippo dartboard factory in Lempäälä town.

You can see the factory behind the darts of the traffic circle. I marked this as a landscape and macro photo, as those darts are actually a part of memory statue of Pekka Jylhä for Lempäälä town. Large view here.

Finnisn dartboard is a bit different than an english one. There is 5 different colours darts, but dart colours are just fo fun, and you get the highest score 10 from the centre of the board. Outer circles give less score circle by circle. Both children and adults play darts - it is specially played in summer time in summer cottages...

The old factory was indoors very humble building, it is somekind of small industrial factory today.

Piippo factory is 60 years old manufacturer of datrboards - and nowadays a worldwide exporter of convolute tubes, paper cones and spiral-wound tubes. They also produce a major variety of fibre drums and special, custom-made packages.

Thanks for your lovely comments to my thirst for more Kettlebell reharsal yesterday! The advertisement was really almost the only blinck of the light in our way back home. And it was so appropriate... What was written on glass, in graffiti, I have no idea... ;)
