Autumn

The village is beginning to look very autumnal.

Despite the dull light and mist this morning it turned out lovely and sunny this afternoon.

Daughter has spent the day on a stage combat course. It was like the summer holidays all over again as I drove her into Stirling at early o'clock to catch the train to Glasgow and them drive back around teatime to collect her.

She has had a great day and has returned expecting to have multiple bruises tomorrow and her arms are already starting to ache from the sword fighting. Tomorrow she will be involved in a bar brawl!
