Huntly town square

So this is where we ended up after 3 and a half hours of driving. I was hoping to have a better opportunity for photo taking but there didn't seem to be time between packing and running errands in the afternoon and finally driving up to Huntly with only two quick stops. We stopped somewhere past Aberdeen at one point in a farm lane between some fields and the constellations were out in their full glory. It's such a breathtaking experience and something we city dwellers don't see as often with the light pollution. I took this photo after we got settled in our hotel and met up with some other friends attending the wedding for a drink at the pub next door. Time to finally turn in after a long day of travelling.
