rendering aside

Knackered, but managed to get things done today, hopefully to the extent of being able to forget about them and get some proper sleep. Even though a couple of hours of afternoon were occupied by departmental meeting nonsense I think I've effectively completed the thing I had to get completed by the end of this week, albeit not to the polished-and-issued stage yet. That just leaves the thing which has to be done tomorrow and then the thing which has to be done BY THURSDAY, the first of which hasn't yet been started whilst the second appears to be progressing without mis-hap. With some sleep, all should be finished by when they're supposed to be finished.
