The fool on the hill

Formula one

70s hi tech. A mechanical masterpiece. For instance; the horizontal focal plane shutter material is a super-thin titanium compound only half a thou thick (an eighth of the thickness of a human hair).
I bought this on ebay 5 years ago because I always wanted one. It was mine for just over £100 which I thought was a bargain. I've only put a couple of films through it. I put a resistor in the metering circuit so the light meter is pretty accurate on modern batteries.
It came with a leather case, a flash shoe adapter and a lovely 55mm f1.2 lens. I sold the lens and adapter for more than I paid for the camera so was feeling pretty chuffed with myself. I now wish I'd kept the lens.
