Street Cleaning--Paris

Two eboueurs(street cleaners) are working directly below my 4th floor window in Paris, even though it's raining. Their bright suits repel the rain, alert drivers to their presence and (I hope) boost their morale. (The biker with his red jacket adds a further bit of color.) The street slopes downward toward the bottom of the picture, and the workers have turned on water to flow along the edge of the street to help the debris along.

Sweepers come along at least every two to three days, sometimes aided by a truck with hoses to spray with. In any case, Parisian streets are impressively clean.
