Nailed it

Another brighter morning and a wander up the hill with the woofers was more pleasant without the rain that has accompanied me for what seems like days. I left the dogs with the wifeycle and trundled off to Stromness to do a wee job and deliver some invoices. Home again briefly and I picked up HV and took her into town - she to the gym and I to the merchants to try and organise some parts. HV was more successful than I have been. Home and a damp wander with the dogs up through Wasdale.
The October word challenge for today is wood, and there are piles of rotting wood and old wooden trailers mouldering away at Wasdale. I liked the water drop on this rusty old nail sticking out of the lichen covered wood.
