Never know quite what to do about washed-out skies (I don't really know how to edit).
I've gotten kind of lazy/introverted/tired/uncertain and haven't asked anyone for a face shot lately, except on the weekends. During the week, in the middle of the day in mid-town Manhattan I'm surrounded by tourists or office workers, to whom I am largely indifferent: by the end of the day I don't have quite enough energy for the conversations I'd like to have before taking a photo.
I guess this means I need to venture a little farther afield at lunchtimes: though that requires planning.
Otherwise you're going to get many more shots like this.
Also, how do you regulate the size of your blip? Somehow mine seem to be gigantic.
