Mama in the nesting box

Today we found a sick penquin and took it to our Zoo that has a state of the art animal hospital callled the Nest, Te Kohunga. The penquin had no sign of injury however appeared to be fitting which was confirmed by the vet who came out of surgery to give penquin a quick once over. S/he was put on oxygen and given a sedative. Tomorrow I will call and see if s/he survived. I really hope so but think it will be a miracle if it does.

I checked on another nest and was pleased to see this happy healthy inhabitant in residence.
