vane. It wasn't much needed today - there only was a slight breeze. For the rest, we had sunny skies, sunny skies with some cloud, overcast skies, a couple of rain drops. It was jacket-on, jacket-off weather. Moving between inside and outside, and back inside again. And, the village was without electricity: the utilities company had some maintenance to do.

Thunder showers forecast, which we all hope won't happen - apparently here, at this time of year, they often bring hail with them, and that is the last thing the farmers want. So, a variable day, weather wise. As variable as a weather vane.

If you haven't guessed by now, today's word for Chantler's October word challenge was Weather. I think tomorrow's word is Nature - I'll have to check.
