Pesto Protector

I found this little guy hanging out on a leaf of basil in my garden this afternoon. He had a little web/nest under the leaf. I'm sure he's part of the reason why my basil is still growing strong without a single bite in any leaves. This is the reason you don't freak out and kill spiders around you house. They have quite an appetite for eggs and nematodes (little critters that like to eat up your garden). This guy was quite small, but I'm sure he has plenty to eat.
