Friday 26 February 2010: This is not just a whip...

It is in fact a Marks and Spencer 'Whip Assortment'...it seed the seems the blip-gods disliked my early abstract....I took the word whip you see here, moved it in a layer to the white background, and swirled the background. Unfortunately the powers that be though this was a text overlay and suspended the image...

It has been whipped (in the culinary sense, via PSE) into somethign a bit abstract, mainly because i don't have a good photograph.

And because today as been about whipping to some extent.

My brain feels like marshmallow, my belly wants chocolate...

And my SLR is more broken than it was when it left me.

I'm so angry with Endsleigh and their contractor Lakeland....Both body and lense came back, but the body did't have a body cap and the lense didn't have an end-cap.

I screwed them together, and nothing...the shutter fires without a lense, it will neither fire nor focus with the lenae on.

No I try flicking to manual and back...and discover that the camera's AF/MF selector is so stiff you have to practically force it to change.

I was so angry, because the repair place said i'd need to send both back, and they'd need to send them on to Pentax and Tamron agian...cue another few weeks of waiting.

I called Endleight, made a complaint, and they called the reapir people, who are apparently going to do it as a priority.

When i got home my kit lense works with the body, which implies that Tamron have screwed up the lense, and Pentax have screwed up the body. You couldn't make this up.

I'm livid...utterly incandescent.

In other news Sweet Potato Sky has had good news, which we are going to celebrate with Thai food later :)
