A day with Karen

It has been a fantastic day!

Helle and I met with our friend Karen in the morning for some dog training. Our dogs loved to get to train again and Helle and I were excited to get to see Karen’s young dog Midge work. Midge is a very very good little dog and it was a pleasure to watch her in action.

After our training, the three of us had lunch with another friend Lesley. She has bearded collies and had a 6 mth old puppy Teddie, who had so much fun with Midge. They were adorable together.

After lunch, we went to see the museum in Bakewell, where my blip friend and Karen’s ‘real life friend’ Anita (Nitanoo) works (- ohhhh another blip meet). Anita made us feel very welcome and her museum is very interesting. We had fun and did really enjoy it. A super afternoon!

When Anita was off from work, we drove to the Thornbridge brewery to see the place and meet Anita’s husband Richard, who works there.

Time to say goodbye to Anita…. Anita, it was great to meet you in real life and I have loved spending time with you. Thank you!

We drove to Karen’s place and she had managed to cook a lovely meal for us even though she had been out all day. I think her husband Allan helped out a little bit ;-)
It was a perfect evening and I really enjoyed spending time with Karen and Allan. It is sad really that I won’t see them again until Crufts.

This is our last night in Derbyshire… The Travelodge internet has been playing up, so this is a backblip as I have not been able to get online.
