WW1 Commemoration

One hundred years ago today ten troupe ships carrying over 8000 soldiers and their horses left Wellington NZ for world war 1.

Photos of life size soldiers from Wellington are appearing all around the city. I spotted this one on my way home from work, just after seeing a very larger than life picture of a pigeon. I'm assuming that is in memory of the all the carrier pigeons involved in the war effort. I'm hoping to spot a horse.
