Saturday 27 February 2010: Can't Beat a Bit of Bully
Yet. Another. Bird. Blip.
Not often we get the bullfinches in the garden, so nice of this one to pose for a while, especially given it's been a day spent mostly indoors. Not down to the weather, but rather clearing stuff for more flooring to be laid, and painting the skirting in the finished bedroom, and a few other things in the bombsite that is currently our home...
Still, it's the weekend, and after the Friday that I had (a continuation of the hassle and aggro from Thursday, even with the ex-boss out of the office but able to inflict annoyance over the telephone with a few rather barbed comments). It's been a long time since I've been quite as angry as I was at work yesterday, but after getting away a little late (a situation that seemed intentionally manufactured by said ex-boss) it was nice to get out for a lovely meal at Ondine - maintaining a rather good standard set by our first visit a wee while back...
Tomorrow is more of the same DIY-lead fun.
