Stormy Sunday

The rain overnight and today was biblical in its proportions it times so heavy the drops were white and appeared like snow. The rain was often this morning horizontal as it passed the window and there was a truly wintry feel again, it seems autumn may have passed very quickly. The cloud, low, black, un-lifting gave the day an appearance of night and tonight as I type the fire is lit and providing a little comfort.
