First Aid

Today I attended day one of the 2-day comprehensive First Aid course that my employer encourages staff to attend. I am surprised that I have gotten this far through my life without the knowledge of CPR and how to deal with choking (in adults, children and babies). Just as well no one has keeled over or swallowed small parts around me. As a mother I am horrified I did not know these things.

Seriously, we should all seek such training! The instructor said that in Germany it is a requirement of getting and renewing a driver's licence. That is a great idea.
