Mono Monday - symmetry

I can only imagine how many hours some wee beastie spent weaving this wonderful work just outside the art classroom window over the weekend ... but the result this morning was several bugs and much people praise so well worthy of being my journal entry today, with full marks for effort, creativity and natural beauty. Difficult to tell from the photo, I know, but this web is easily 12"/30cm in diameter so I am not entirely disappointed that the owner/creator of this extraordinary artefact was nowhere to be seen....
