Snow Down Under

SMOKEY:

When I awoke this morning it was the most pristine, glorious day. Not a cloud in the sky & it felt the world had been spring cleaned; and then 9am, WOOF, it all changed & went up in smoke. The farmer across the lake must have a permit to burn bracken & for the rest of the day we've had an appalling pall of smoke, blanketing the town & blocking out the sun.

This blip is taken on the left hand side of my garden, under the Mt. Fuji cherry, overlooking the neighbours lawn, to the source of the fires across the lake. If you look closely, you will see several spirals of smoke which have been the cause of this truly awful, awful, hazy day. The house centre left belongs to the Mills family which is part of the Rippon Vineyard. The Rhodo is ILAM VIOLET.
