The start of a new project - the brambles are mostly cleared, the wasp nest destroyed (one of the team is allergic), three trees transplanted, and trailer-loads of rubbish removed.
Lots of serious groundwork now to follow.

It's going to be a mixed shrubbery full of wildlife-promoting plants.

So tired now I cant think straight !

Last night's storm was intense but subsided today to a fresh and very cold wind. We needed our winter layers and also spent an hour wrapping all the young rhododendrons in hessian and fleece in an attempt to protect them from the winter winds.
