Great Tapestry of Scotland

Today we visited the Great Tapestry of Scotland Exhibition at New Lanark. The exhibition features 143 metres of 160 individual tapestry panels depicting scenes from the developing history of Scotland. The tapestries were designed by a single artist, Andrew Crummy, and stitched by over a thousand volunteers from around the country. The colours and details are magnificent as you can see in this panels.
