Beach walking

Wee trip up the coast today to St Andrews. Nice walk on the beach, despite it being a wee bit chilly being exposed out there!

Local students also appears to have an "Event" on as we walked through town there were a number of costumes on show....on our return from the beach those throngs of students were walking back to their halls covered head to toe in shaving foam. It appears to be linked to this

We headed out from St Andrews down the coast to Anstruther, stopping on our way at the secret bunker. A rather facinating place that has 15ft thick walls of concrete. It looks straight out of a .
Although it was actively used up until the eighties it really does look as though someone closed the doors back then and someone opened them back up only a couple of years ago. A very eery place to be for an hour or two. I would not have liked that place if it was my place of work. No natural light. No natrual air. I would expect there to be quite a large rotation of staff into such a building at the time. Despite it being "secret".

Dinner was had with an obligatory stop in Anstruther for Fish and Chips. Being good we shared one, which by that point in the day was plenty.
