Poppies

My woes of today are minimal to those commemorated here on the day the RBL launched the Poppy Appeal in E and W. Cancelled train south, meaning I got to London an hour late. Plane home delayed nearly 2 hours, meaning it will be at least midnight before I get home.

But here at the Tower of London an amazing sight. Nearly 900,000 ceramic poppies representing every individual lost in WW1, from the UK. I have bought one and my grandmother's brother's name was read out at the end of the day - we will remember them.

I am so glad I saw this.
