Hostname : Pinakbet

I attended a violin/cello concert at Helen Martin Studio today with Hazel and Tala. Tala enjoyed the performance so much that she got a special mention from the host of the show.

I attended an enjoyable seminar with Jasmine about colloids at 4pm today in L3. Funny thing happened during the Q&A portion of the talk. An email notification from the Director of MOAC splashed across the screen for everyone to see saying "GREAT TALK" as the email title, then a few seconds later another email notification popped up with the title "RUBBISH TALK". That was a good end to a good talk, a rubbish comment. The room had a good laugh.

As i continued with my work at the lab, I noticed that i have connected to a node from the cluster with a hostname "PINAKBET". There are only a few Filipinos in Warwick, I wonder who among the people i know named one computer in the cluster to a well-loved Filipino dish?! hhmmmmm
