Abertaff House

Abertarff House, Church Street, Inverness. Built in 1593, this is one of the oldest houses in Inverness. It is a fine example of domestic architecture of the 16th and 17th centuries and is the only house in the burgh containing a turnpike staircase. It was the town house of Frasers of Lovat.
R and I went to Inverness today as I had the dentist and we wanted a good look round the shops without the men restricting us to ten minutes. We had a great relaxing day and thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks R for driving me there and back.
