Red-tailed Hawk on Power Tower

I was out and about this morning, and spotted a red-tailed hawk in a tree. I turned the car around and as I approached he flew off to a power tower much farther away...darn! I caught his just as he landed. He stayed on the tower for a long time with his wings spread...catching the wind to dry those wings out!

It's been raining most of the day...and up in Longview WA they had a tornado, unheard of around here! It did a lot of damage....over about a mile long path. I just heard the weather forecast which went something like this....RAIN, and MORE RAIN.
