Moustache Man

I went to Tatton with Jude today as there was a food festival on. There were plenty of goodies to taste and we did just that. It is amazing how many 'specialist' cheese companies there are, we opted for some from Snowdonia in the end....in fact I might just pause in my typing and go and get a little chunk as I'm salivating at the thought and it's not good for keyboard.............

................munch, munch.......

So to continue.......I bought some cheese, some creme brulee fudge and a rather tasty looking spinach and ricotta flan which I must put in to the oven now........

.....right it is warming.....Oh, I forgot to mention the salted caramel chocolate brownie too. I had a taste of one and well, it would have been rude not to buy one after I went weak at the knees when I ate it..... wouldn't it??

We went into a cookery demo by Nigel Howarth, he was brilliant. He is such a character and had us laughing and salivating. He made treacle salmon and grouse on a pomegranate and orange salad. I took some pics of him but opted for this stall holder with his double twisted moustache....looks good, but I wouldn't want to kiss him, he could take your eye out!

I was rather shocked to see my magic box hit the spotlight...thank you blipfriends :)
