Frozen duck or dancing on ice?

This duck was trying to make progress across the pond today, but was slipping and sliding on the ice rather than swimming. Rather a comical sight!

Luckily there were a few areas that had melted so he could drink. All the ducks on the pond came over to see whether I had titbits for them - unfortunately not!
