Up up and away

I got up at 4 am this morning and drove to Pokolbin where the annual Balloonfest was taking place. Good thing I got there early as the pilots decided that they wanted to take off from Broke. Good thing we followed them (like a scene out of Field of Dreams with car lights in a long stream on country roads) because they wound up south of Singleton. It was misty and a glorious sunrise. So worthwhile getting up. I am probably going to do it all again tomorrow so a very early night for me I think.

There was also a mini air show at Rathmines, the aerobatic team were fantastic.
